Why Kathy Griffin needs to be Held Accountable

Kathy Griffin's behavior is inexcusable, it isn't art, it isn't freedom of expression, it is the fantasy of a sick individual who wishes harm to the President of the United States. Now Kathy joins the on going list of liberal lunatics who have wished nothing but failure and harm to the President of the United States. That list includes well known A list celebrities, so called news journalists, and a slew of regulars on social media that keeps the Secret Service up at all hours of the night investigating.

So why am I singling out Kathy Griffin? Because she posted a video on social media that up the ante in the assassination fantasies of the President. She either knowingly or unknowingly portrayed to millions of young minds out there that it is ok to fantasize and desire a US President's demise.

What Kathy fails to understand, as do the nitwits in Hollywood and the Fake  Lamestream News Media out there, is that if you wish the demise of a US President you also wish failure upon our great Nation. You wish failure of it's citizens, it's laws, it's institutions, and especially it's veterans since you desire death of the Commander in Chief.

Make no mistake what Kathy Griffin did is UNFORGIVABLE and therefore the punishment lashed out for violation of Title 18 US Code 871 should be severe. ANY PRESIDENT no matter who it is or was, Clinton, Obama, Trump, Bush it doesn't matter, should never be threatened this way. A US President former or present was a Commander in Chief who lead America. Doesn't matter the politics, what matters is the office and the respect given.

Title 18 US Code 871 states

Whoever knowingly and willfully deposits for conveyance in the mail or for a delivery from any post office or by any letter carrier any letter, paper, writing, print, missive, or document containing any threat to take the life of, to kidnap, or to inflict bodily harm upon the President of the United States, the President-elect, the Vice President or other officer next in the order of succession to the office of President of the United States, or the Vice President-elect, or knowingly and willfully otherwise makes any such threat against the President, President-elect, Vice President or other officer next in the order of succession to the office of President, or Vice President-elect, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than five years, or both.
