Growing up in the 90s I was slowly getting into the Pokemon craze with friends from school. However after also watching the South Park episode "Chinpokomon" I quickly fell out of love with Pokemon. Apparently though many people from my generation are still in love with it.
The new sensation, "Pokemon Now" is a game where it takes you to real world locations to find and collect Pokemon characters. The game premise itself you would think to be innocent, but it isn't.
So far these Pokemon characters have popped up in many places they should never have in the first place such as the United States Holocaust Museum and Arlington Cemetery just to name a few. First off how utterly self centered, selfish, and stupid do you have to be to trample into these hollowed grounds for a stupid pixelated character? You trespass into a cemetery where brave men and women have gone through horrors you will never experience for your freedom. Secondly you trample on the resting places of these heroes never giving a thought that what you are doing is wrong. The Holocaust museum is just the same. A place to honor the dead and the survivors of mass genocide, but now a place to find Pokemon and act like fools.
These characters are also popping up on private property as well as cemeteries. Again, morons in droves trample through and damage someone's property to find these made up characters. How would you like someone to trample all over your grandparents grave just for a video game? To make matters even worse sometimes these people mass like a black Friday mob, and injure each other for again a stupid pixelated piece of crap.
All of you promoting this garbage grow the hell up. It's great to play a game, but not when it damages the general public, is disrespectful, and hurts others around you.
