Commonsense Part II


Over two hundred years ago the great American writer of his time Thomas Paine wrote "Commonsense". Stressing to the citizens of the thirteen colonies how vital it was to unite against their common enemy the British Empire.

Now I bring you my own version of "Commonsense" in the same spirit that Thomas Paine wrote all those years ago.

I am a Christian, saved by the grace of almighty God by bringing his son to this earth, and loving us so much that he sacrificed him to save us. I am an American, who loves this nation and it's principles that all men and women are created equal no matter the race, color, or creed. That we hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. I am a Veteran, who joined the fight when our nation was attacked and served honorably until I was wounded. I am a Republican, I carry with me the spirit of the party of Abraham Lincoln that truly made all men free. I carry with me the spirit of Ronald Reagan who showed us that troubled times could be reversed and could be made prosperous. Lastly I am of the millennial generation who are beginning to wake up.

Now that you know who I am, let me begin.

You and I reading this hold the same principles that the founding fathers did. That this nation must and will uphold the Constitution of the United States of America or America will be forever lost.
When the Republican primary first started I was skeptical of everyone except Ted Cruz. Cruz was and is a champion of Constitutional liberty. I admired him and still do. However I also went into this primary knowing that whoever the nominee would be I would rally behind because the true enemy was at the gates.

Whether it would have been Dr. Ben Carson, Marco Rubio, Carly Fiorina, John Kasich, Donald Trump, and even Jeb Bush. Because all, regardless of how moderate or how right they are all have one thing in common. They all truly love the United States of America.

Now that we have our nominee there are people in the Republican Party who almost have a cultist attachment about themselves, a selfish hold on who their candidate was. People who cannot look past their nose and see the future.

The main argument I hear is "I'd rather vote for a man with all my principles, and in turn uphold my principles.", but let me ask you this question. Why would you want four more years of an administration that upholds none of your principles by not voting for the Republican nominee?

Take notice my friends that the true enemy of America, the Constitution, and it's people is at the gates. That enemy my friends is Hillary Rodham Clinton. A woman who has proven time and time again she has no principles. A woman who would put the Constitution of the United States of America in the shredder because she doesn't believe in it. A woman who supports every policy that the current Obama administration has made. Policies that have taken freedoms away from it's people and have taken away sovereignty of our nation.

Hillary Rodham Clinton further proved she has no principles or love for this nation when she let four Americans die in Benghazi. When she committed a Federal crime that many are, and have been either in prison or reprimanded for the exact same crime. Hillary Rodham Clinton has chosen someone with the view of America that she holds as her Vice President. Make no mistake the real enemy of America is Hillary Rodham Clinton and Tim Kaine.

So again why will you not support the Republican nominee Donald J. Trump? He is the closest thing to your principles. He is someone who will nominate a modern day replacement that the late great Justice Scalia can be proud of. Someone who loves America so much he wants to see it prosper again. Someone who will uphold the Constitution of the United States. Someone who nominated a man who loves America as much as you and I do as his Vice President. If you write in your nominee who lost the primary on November 8th you steal a vote from the Republican nominee. If you stay home, you steal a vote from the Republican nominee. And guess what? No one is going to care that you stuck to your principles, and refused to compromise. When you allowed another four years of the same policies that are destroying this nation. Polices that have none of your principles in them.

It is time to see past your nose.

It is time for Commonsense.
